  1. Rather than studying ignou and bulky books, if someone like to go through faculty notes…it will be useful in scoring high marks or not.

    1. Questions demand your own appreciation of a sociological issue. Faculty notes would give you their appreciation. This is not say they are not relevant. Please use them to supplement text books. And, books are not bulky if you stick to syllabus topics.
      All the best!

  2. In
Section C (Rural and Agrarian transformation in India)
and (Indusrialisation and Urbanisation in India – growth of urban settlements link 4 )
    these links r not opening….
and yes d way in which d notes r sorted out r great..thanks

    1. Thanks for your comment!

We do not have any link for Rural and Agrarian transformation in India.

Indusrialisation and Urbanisation in India – growth of urban settlements link 4: is working fine from our end. Kindly retry.

  3. Sir, in some topics like Family , Mariiage – Why are there 2 3 pdf of same topics? Do they have same content ? Do we have to read all the pdf on same topcs from page-to-page or we can just can keep on supplementinf information from the pdfs instead of reading the 2 3 pdfs page-to-page on same topics. ( For example – for marriage and family topics in paper 2, there are Marriage1, Marriage 2, Marriage 3, Marriage 4, Family 1, Family 2, Family 3 files)

  4. Hello Sir,
Should i read the complete pdf link attached or just the topic mentioned in the syllabus? For instance, Religious revivalism
